FLORENCE - a City in Central Italy is located on the Arno river. Florence is famous for its Gothic and Renaissance buildings, Art Galleries and Museums. One of the outstanding buildings is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore which was begun in 1296.

The Museums of Florence contain unsurpassed collections of the greatest painters of Italy.

The left picture, of the bottom two, overlooks the city of Florence from the Nun Monestary of FIESOLE. On the right site is a view from the Piazza Michaelangelo, overlooking the river Arno. Michaelangelo's famous sculpture of "DAVID" is the middle picture of the second last row.
